Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching power supply which can reduce a harmonic noise.SOLUTION: The switching power supply switches on/off a switching element by PWM control, to control a current which flows through a coil so as to obtain a desired DC voltage. In a first period immediately after the start of a PWM ON period during a PWM ON period to cause a switching element to be switched on by the PWM control, the switching power supply can perform the switching of the switching element by a first pulse signal having a gradually increased pulse width in a shorter period than the PWM period. Further, after the lapse of the first period in the PWM ON period, the switching power supply can perform the switching of the switching element by the PWM signal based on the PWM control. Thus, a harmonic noise can be reduced.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
