At the time of inputting data to a data base 4 by a data inputting system 3, an input voice being data is inputted from telephone sets 1a, 1b,... through a telephone line 2 to a communicating means 3a. A voice recognizing means 3b converts an input voice received by a communicating means 3a, generates text data, and supplies it to a registering means 3c. The registering means 3c inputs the supplied text data to the data base 4. The data inputting system 3 inputs the data to the data base 4 in this way so that even a user who does not use any computer which can be connected with a private terminal or a computer network can input data to the data base 4 with a voice by using the telephone sets 1a, 1b,....
