PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid Endian computer system supporting a task having a different information form by one computer system. SOLUTION: The computer system 100 is provided with a hybrid Endian circuit 175 to revise its Endian mode dynamically and to enhance the function of a conventional 2 Endian computer system. The hybrid Endian computer system 100 revises the Endian mode for each task as required. The hybrid Endian circuit 175 formats data automatically in a form expected by a task in execution independently of whether or not the task expects data in a large Endian format or a small Endian format. The hybrid Endian circuit 175 formats data so that a large Endian instruction or a small Endian instruction is executed by one and same computer system.
