Abstract:
To solve the problem that adherence to pressure support therapy is a challenge for patients prescribed with the therapy.SOLUTION: A method of increasing adherence of a patient to a therapy provided by a pressure support device is provided, comprising collecting data regarding a number of attributes of the patient along with time information thereof, determining the occurrence of a sleep-related event from the data, determining the condition of the pressure support device, and providing an indication to the patient in response to the steps of determining the occurrence and determining the condition.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
