To improve continuous tape sticking work by providing a blade to put on an edge in the cross direction of the tape by extending it in a direction of a thum to extend in on a fixed part of a cylindrical or band body free to fix the thumb on.
A tape cutter is provided with a blade 2 extending in a direction in which a thumb is extended on an outer peripheral part of a cylindrical fixed part 1 free to fix on the thumb of an adult. The fixed part 1 is furnished with a base part to slide along an outer peripheral surface of a roll 7A of a gummed cloth tape 7. A support surface to put on the roll A of the gummed cloth tape 7 of the base part is curved circular arc after a circular arc shape. The blade 2 is fixed on a fitting surface of a thumb side end part of the base part by jointly fastening it with a protective cover 5. The fixed part 1 is slightly diagonally formed against the base part, and when the roll 7A is gripped and a thum 8 comes to be diagonal against the tape 7, the blade 2 comes to be in the axial direction of the tape 7. Consequently, it is possible to easily cut the tape by twisting the roll side of the tape against the tape stuck and fixed.
