Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid hearing mistake, when a changed telephone number is notified and also avoid mistake caused by a wrong operation by comparing a telephone number registered in a telephone directory with the received telephone number or data and storing the data in the relevant place of the telephone directory, when the coincidence is confirmed between the registered telephone number and the received telephone number or data.
SOLUTION: If an incoming subaddress number is included in an incoming signal in an incoming mode, the function number of the incoming subaddress number stored in an incoming subaddress number storage part 22 of an incoming storage part 20 is compared with the function number stored in a storage part 41 which stores the head function number 1 of a function number table 40. If matching is confirmed between both function numbers and also the originating number stored in an original number storage part 21 of the part 20 is not yet registered in a telephone directory 30, it is checked whether an old number stored in an incoming subaddress number storage part 24 of the part 20 is already registered in the directory 30. If the old number is already registered in the directory 30 and can be changed automatically, the number stored in a storage part 32 storing a telephone number 1 registered in the directory 30 is stored in a storage part 33 to store the changed number 1, and the telephone number of the incoming subaddress number stored in a storage part 24 of the part 20 is stored in the part 32. Then a changing action name is shown at the display part of a terminal device.
