Title:
TERMINAL SEAL TAPE AND SEAL STRUCTURE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3497467
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop an adhesive tape having excellent admissibility of dimensional change of plastic substrate, etc., for forming a moisture-permeable waterproof sheet and a moisture-proof film, maintaining sealing function of waterproofness and airtightness for a long period of time and having excellent applicability.
SOLUTION: This terminal seal tape (4) is obtained by providing a nonwoven fabric (1) having 3-20 N/cm 1%; modulus with a butyl rubber-based adhesive layer (2) formulated with a tackifier having 400-5,000 average molecular weight in an airtight state to block permeation of water and air in the thickness direction. This seal structure is obtained by bonding the piled part or the terminal part of a moisture-permeable waterproof sheet or a moisture-proof film using a plastic base applied as a ground to the outside or the inside of an architectural structure to the outside or the inside of the architectural structure with the terminal seal tape and subjecting the terminal part of the moisture-permeable waterproof sheet or the moisture-proof film to waterproof treatment or airtight treatment. A deformation stress following the dimensional change of a material to be bonded caused by difference in temperature hardly remains, a dimensional change brought about by swelling of plastic base can be controlled and the sheet terminal part can be efficiently sealed by a simple operation.
