Title:
THERMOPLASTIC BLEND COMPOSITION COMPRISING POLYESTER RESIN AND ORGANIC SULFURIC ACID SALT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3721226
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a thermoplastic compsn. having excellent melt stability at a low cost by incorporating an arom. polycarbonate resin, a polyester resin, and a particular amt. of an org. sulfuric acid salt as indispensable ingredients.
SOLUTION: An arom. polycarbonate resin (A) (e.g. a bisphenol A polycarbonate resin), a polyester resin (B) (e.g. a polyalkylene terephthalate resin), and an organic sulfuric acid salt (C) (e.g. sodium dodecylsulfate) in an amt. of 0.01 to 5wt.% based on the total wt. of the compsn. are mixed together to prepare a thermoplastic resin compsn. Incorporation of the component (A) and the component (B) in respective amts. of 30 to 70wt.% and 70 to 30wt.% based on the total wt. of the compsn. is suitable. If necessary, an impact resistance improver (e.g. an ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer), a reinforcement (e.g. a glass fiber), UV stabilizer, a plasticizer, an antioxidant and the like may be incorporated.
