Abstract:
PURPOSE:To attain a gradation expression with excellent resolution and to improve the recording speed by controlling the feeding of recording paper at each I line recording scanning of a thermal head having plural heating elements to adopt different print speeds for color elements Y, M, C and B. CONSTITUTION:The thermal head 8 has heating elements TH1-THn to record the I line and the size of the heat element is 1/12mm wide and long respectively. Further, a printer control circuit 5 of a thermosensitive recording section 1 is provided with paper feed control, i.e., a stepping motor 10 and a drive system of a platen 9, the 1st feed control means for applying feed control at 1/12mmX1/2 each being a half of the length 1/12mm of the heating element and the 2nd feed control means for applying paper feed control at 1/12mmXn unit each being 1/12mm or over. That is, the 1st feed control means is used for recording color elements yellow Y, magenta M and cyan C and the 2nd feed control means is used for recording a color element black B.
