Title:
THERMOSTAT AND SETTING THEREOF
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS57155624
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
Means for setting a daily temperature set-back period in a thermostat controller are provided. To set the period, button C is pressed when the period is to start, resetting a 24-hour timer 52. A counter H and storage unit L store up to 15 1 Hz pulses, depending on how long the button S is pushed, to set the length of set-back. The pulses are fed to an LED 30 so the number of hours set can be counted. A review button R allows the number of hours stored to be read (as a sequence of pulses) non-destructively. A change button C allows the programmed energy saving function to be temporarily over-ridden.
