This method is for manufacturing a thin-film photoelectric conversion module 1 having a structure in which a transparent front electrode layer 3, a thin film photoelectric conversion unit 4, and a metallic backside electrode 5 are laminated successively on a transparent substrate 2. This method includes a process for dividing the metallic backside electrode layer 5, by irradiating the metallic backside electrode layer 5 with laser beams having wavelength which is 400 nm or less from the backside.
