Abstract:
To provide a thrust magnetic bearing device which can stably support a rotating shaft by complementing thrust generated in a direction of the rotating shaft by rotation.SOLUTION: A thrust magnetic bearing device supporting a rotation electric machine having an impeller arranged at a distal end of a rotating shaft 1, in a direction of the rotating shaft comprises: a thrust disc 2 composed of a magnetic material and adhered to an outer perimeter of the rotating shaft; an electromagnet 10 arranged at the impeller side of the thrust disc 2 with a prescribed distance therefrom, and having an electromagnetic iron core 11 and an electromagnetic coil 12; an electromagnet 20 arranged at an anti-impeller side of the thrust disc 2 with a prescribed distance therefrom, and having an electromagnetic iron core 21 and an electromagnetic coil 22; and a permanent magnet 50 arranged at the electromagnetic iron core 21 of the electromagnet 20, and complementing thrust generated upon the rotation of the rotating shaft 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
