PURPOSE: To automatically reset number printed out by a time stamp and counter for counting up printing frequency to respective initial values at the arrival of previously set time and to presicely execute the number management and counter management by setting up time for automatically restoring number and automatically restoring the number to an initial value at set time.
CONSTITUTION: A number control part G for managing a number printed out by a printer 12 is provided with an automatic restoration time setting means for setting up time at which number is to be automatically restored and an automatic number restoration means for automatically restoring the number to an initial value at the set time. Thereby, the number is automatically reset to the initial value at the arrival of the previously set time. Since the number printed out together with time by the time stamp and the counter for counting up printing frequency are automatically restored to respective initial values at the arrival of inputted and set up restoration time, the printing of the time stamp can be started from a determined number every day.
