Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve installing property of a timing chain mechanism to an internal combustion engine.
SOLUTION: A chain damper 13 is swingably pivoted on one end of a chain slipper 14, and a chain stopper guide 16 capable of supporting a crank sprocket 12 is swingably arranged on one end of the chain slipper, and a spring 17 to swing the chain damper and the chain stopper guide to the mutually opposing sides is tensioned between the chain stopper guide and the chain damper, and a cam sprocket and the crank sprocket are respectively supported by the chain damper and the chain stopper guide, and swinging of the chain slipper is regulated by the chain damper, and the crank sprocket, the cam sprocket and the chain slipper are formed as a temporary assembly together with the chain damper and the chain stopper guide before being installed on an internal combustion engine.
