Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a studless pneumatic tire for heavy load having excellent performance on snow and excellent resistance against eccentric wear.
SOLUTION: This tire for heavy load has at least one block row BL in which a plurality of blocks B composed of a plurality of longitudinal channels G extending continuously in the peripheral direction and a plurality of lateral channels g crossing the longitudinal channels are arranged in the peripheral direction. A tread face is formed by two main parts Bm separating the blocks B in the peripheral direction and an auxiliary part Bs positioned therebetween, having both of width in the axial direction of the tire and length in the peripheral direction smaller than those of the main part Bm. And separated from the main part Bm by a siping S1 extending in the axial direction of the tire. A siping S2 with one end opened in the horizontal channel g and extended in the peripheral direction of the tire and with other end terminating without crossing the siping S1 in the main part Bm is arranged in the main part Bm. The blocks B adjacent in the peripheral direction are connected by a connection part C provided in the horizontal channel g and more inward from the tread face in the radial direction.
