PURPOSE: To obtain a self-timer device which is improved in operability without increasing the size of constitution by reinstating the electrically set state of a self-timer through a setting member before the operation of the self-timer is completed.
CONSTITUTION: When a selector lever 22 is positioned at a mark 28, a self- timer mode is set to close a corresponding switch S1, and the output of an inverter I1 is inverted to a high level. This high-level signal sets a counter in a camera and while self-timer time is counted, an LED turns on through a control circuit according to the result of AND with a battery detection signal, etc., to display the self-timer mode. On the other hand, when said lever 22 is returned to its initial position before the operation of the self-time is completed, the output of the inverter I1 is reinverted to the low level and while a self- timer counter is reset, the LED turns off to initialize the self-timer without double operation including a battery check. Thus, a self-timer device having excellent operability is obtained without increasing its constitution.
