PURPOSE: To perform switching operation speedily and securely through simple constitution by switching a clutch gear to a camera or lens driving system through an electromagnetic driving mechanism, and also holding the switching position by a snapping mechanism.
CONSTITUTION: The electromagnetic driving mechanism consists of a moving coil 15 between magnets 11 and 12 and a magnetic material substrate 14, and the holding plate 16 of the coil 15 is supported rotatably on a shaft 17. The snapping mechanism consisting of a snapping plate 24 and a spring 26 is provided at the upper part of the coil 15. The pin 18 of the holding plate 16 is engaged with the notch part of the sliding plate 19 and a pin 23 is inserted into the snapping plate 24. When the coil 15 rotates clockwise at a position in a figure where a clutch gear 35 is meshed with the lens driving system B, the pin 18 and sliding plate 19 are moved up to mesh a gear 35 with a gear 36, and the snapping plate is rotated counterclockwise by the pin 23 to perform snapping operation, thereby holding the position for switching to the camera driving system. Consequently, the switching operation is carried out speedily and securely.
