To provide a toilet device capable of inhibiting urine from scattering by hitting against a toilet lid even when urination in a standing posture is done immediately after leaving a toilet seat is detected while washing a toilet bowl with the toilet lid closed automatically after use.SOLUTION: A toilet device includes a toilet bowl, a toilet bowl washing part for washing the toilet bowl, a toilet seat, a toilet lid, a drive part for opening and closing the toilet lid, a control part, a seating detection part for detecting seating of a user on a toilet seat, and a toilet seat opening/closing detection for detecting an opening/closing state of the toilet seat. When the toilet seat opening/closing detection part does not detect an open state of the toilet seat within a predetermined time after the seating detection part detects the user's leaving of the toilet seat, the control part executes a closing operation for bringing the toilet lid into a closed state by the drive part, and then executes a toilet bowl washing operation for washing the toilet bowl by the toilet bowl washing part. When the toilet seat opening/closing detection part detects an open state of the toilet seat within a predetermined time after the seating detection part detects the user's leaving of the toilet seat, the control part does not execute the closing operation and the toilet bowl washing operation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
