Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool blade and a method for manufacturing the tool blade.SOLUTION: In a tool blade, a backing strip 12 is applied, binding materials 14, 16 of powder form are dropped like falls onto the backing strip, polishing grains 26 are supplied, and binding material powders 14, 16 are heated by radiation ray beam 22 from a radiation source 24, whereby a binding layer for binding the polishing grains 26 to the backing strip 12 is formed. By use of radiation ray beam 22 from the radiation source 24, a discontinuous region of the binding layer is formed as a tooth along a blade 10.
