Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately determine presence or absence of ghost sound occurrence at intermesh integer number.SOLUTION: A tooth surface waviness evaluation method includes: a tooth trace waviness data acquisition step of measuring errors of target tooth surfaces along tooth trace directions at a plurality of places between tooth root portions and tooth tip portions of target tooth surfaces to acquire tooth trace waviness data D1, D2, D3; a contact line intersection point acquisition step of obtaining intersection points of the plurality of tooth trace waviness data D1, D2, D3 acquired in the tooth trace waviness data acquisition step with contact lines on respective target tooth surfaces; a composite tooth trace waviness data acquisition step of obtaining composite tooth trace waviness data DG1 by superimposing the respective intersection points obtained in the contact line intersection point acquisition step and composing the plurality of tooth trace waviness data; and an evaluation step of evaluating tooth surface waviness of a gear from periodicity of tooth surface waviness expressed in the composite tooth trace waviness data DG1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
