Title:
TORQUE SENSOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2012194144
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a torque sensor capable of preventing a ring magnet from falling off from a back yoke.

The torque sensor 40 includes a torsion bar 12 which transmits a torque in between a first shaft 11 and a second shaft 13 which are coaxially arranged, a magnetic generation part 50 fixed to the first shaft 11, and a rotational magnetic circuit part 60 fixed to the second shaft 13, and detects the torque which acts on the tension bar 12 in accordance with the density of magnetic flux guided to the rotational magnetic circuit part 60 from the magnetic generation part 50. The magnetic generation part 50 includes: a back yoke 51 outwardly fitted to the first shaft 11; an annular protrusion 51B protruded and formed on the end surface of the back yoke 51; an annular ring magnet 52 provided on the end surface of the back yoke 51 so as to have a predetermined space d between the protrusion 51B; and a holding member 55 which is mounted on the protrusion 51B in the space to hold the ring magnet 52.
