This traction type ground maintenance work machine (A) is detachably connected for use to a three-point link mechanism or a hitch frame (M)(F) which is lifted by a hydraulic cylinder (18) mounted on a power main machine (V). The machine includes a rake (A1) for scraping and breaking the soil of a ground (G) and a finisher (A2) for smoothening the ground after the scraping and breaking. The rake and the finisher are surrounded by a window tunnel (T) formed of a top cover (50) and both left and right side covers (51) in a generally inverted U-shape when viewed from the rear. Water is sprayed from a plurality of water injection nozzles (75) arranged parallel to each other on the top cover (50) of the window tunnel (T) in a scattered state to the rear outlet part and the periphery of the window tunnel (T) to suppress and settle the soil dust soaring from the ground (G) during the operations of the rake and the finisher.
