Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the installation cost of a traffic sign post on a road, by forming a female screw in the post and forming a male screw corresponding to the female screw in the leg for embedding the post and fastening these screws to fix the traffic sign post and the embedding leg.
SOLUTION: A traffic sign post is constituted of a pole 11 and a base seat 12 and the part corresponding to the lower part of the pole 11 in the base seat 12 is protruded and a nut 17 is inserted in the protrusion 16 and fixed thereto. The embedding leg 20 is provided with a straight upper part and a U-shaped lower part made of stainless steel with a circular section respectively. And a male screw part 21 is formed to correspond to the female screw 19 of the nut 17 at the upper part thereof. The leg 20 is screwed in the nut 17 to assemble the pole 11, the base seat 12, and the leg 20 and then, a hole 30 is excavated in the road and the led is put in the hole 30 and an adhesive 31 is cured to fix the leg 20 in the subgrade 32. In this way, bolts and nuts in the market can be used for the screw members of the leg 20 and the base seat 12 and hence, the installation cost can be reduced.
