Title:
TRANSMITTING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6132622
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To vary transmission electric power by converting a signal received at some point into a light signal corresponding to its signal electric field intensisty and feeding it back to a transmitter, and holding the signal intensity of the feedback signal constant.

CONSTITUTION: The transmission electric power P from the transmitter 1 is matched and fed to a monopole type transmitting antenna 13. This transmitting antenna 13 is installed at antenna height which is extremely close to 1/10 wavelength. A transmit signal radiated by this transmitting antenna 13 is received by a loop type receiving antenna 14 at an well open remote reception point and the receive signal voltage ER is supplied to a receiver 15. This receiver 15 amplifies and detects the receive signal voltage ER, converts the detected signal logarithmically, and performs A/D conversion. This receiver 15 supplies the receive digital voltage signal E1 obtained by the A/D conversion of an electrooptic converter (E/O)16 to obtain a light signal OR by conversion, and the signal is transmitted and fed back to the optoelectric converter (O/E)12 of the transmitter 11 by optical fiber communication or space transmission.
