Abstract:
To detect minute bubbles surfacing in an inspection liquid tank over a wide area.SOLUTION: An ultrasonic leakage inspection device comprises: an inspection liquid tank 1 in which an inspection object W is immersed in an inspection liquid L; an ultrasonic wave transmit unit 2 arranged on a transmit wall 6 of the inspection liquid tank 1, for radiating a transmit beam of ultrasonic vibration; and an ultrasonic wave receive unit 3 arranged on a receive wall 7 of the inspection liquid tank 1, for receiving ultrasonic vibration with a prescribed receive beam. The inspection liquid tank 1 has the transmit wall 6 and the receive wall 7 arranged facing each other. The ultrasonic wave transmit unit 2 includes a plurality of ultrasonic vibrators 4 arranged inside of the transmit wall 6, each ultrasonic vibrator 4 being arranged in such an attitude that the direction of a transmit beam for radiating ultrasonic vibration equals the direction of the receive wall 7. The ultrasonic wave receive unit 3 includes a plurality of ultrasonic sensors 5 arranged on the inside of the receive wall 7, the ultrasonic sensors 5 being arranged at positions shifted from the center axis 4x of the transmit beam, the center axis 5x of a maximum sensitivity receive beam intersecting the center axis 4x of the transmit beam inside of the inspection liquid tank 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
