Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide novel use of isothiazolecarboxamides for inducing latent host defenses in a plant.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to the use of isothiazolecarboxamides or thiadiazolecarboxamides represented by formula (I) for induction of latent host defenses in a plant that are activated in the event of receiving an attack by a phytopathogenic pathogen or pest or of abiotic stress, comprising the priming of intrinsic disease resistance mechanisms of the plant.SELECTED DRAWING: None
