To provide a valve device for venting in a die for die casting which is safely and surely worked even under condition of a little quantity of a casting material and slow casting speed.
This valve device is provided with a gas venting hole 10, a valve closing member 42 shiftable in the axial direction, a gas venting valve 4 communicated with the gas venting hole and a working device for working the gas venting valve from the opening position to the closing position. The working device is composed of a motive power pickup member 5, a working element 6, driving member 8, etc. At the casting time, a stopping member 7 shifting in the axial direction by receiving the action of a casting metal flowing into the gas venting hole is provided. The working element 6 is connected so as to be workable to the valve closing member and pushed to ward the stopping member and shiftable in the axial direction. As the result of such a structure, the valve closing member in the gas venting valve is shifted from the opening position thereof the closing position by receiving the action of the working element at the casting time. The other separated means, such as air pressure, hydraulic pressure, for shifting the stopping member can be arranged.
