Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve device improved in reliability and usable more flexibly.SOLUTION: A valve device measures and supplies a gaseous fuel to an internal combustion engine with plural control valves which have individual cross sections and electromagnetically operate. The control valve is formed as a seating valve. The valve device can be arranged on a combustion chamber, and the valve device has a nominal cross section for supplying a predetermined flow rate. In the seating valves, a sum total of the individual cross sections is at least equal to the nominal cross section. An effective cross section based on valve strokes of all the seating valves is equal to the nominal cross section, and the effective cross section is smaller than or equal to the sum total of the individual cross sections.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
