Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection mechanism supplying ink stably at a time of connection and preventing the leakage of ink at a time of disconnection even if connection and disconnection are repeated in the connection part with a recording means in an ink tank constituted so that the recording means and the ink tank having an ink housing part are separate members and can be separated from a recording apparatus and integrated at a time of use.
SOLUTION: The valve disc 10 arranged to an ink supply port is constituted of an elastically deformable platelike member 11, a stopper member 13 having the seal part 15b provided to one surface of the plate like member to substantially close the ink supply port and an ink flowing part 15a having a cross-sectional area smaller than that of the seal part and the support member 12 arranged to the same surface as the stopper member of the plate like member and supporting the platelike member to an ink tank and the valve disc is held to the ink tank by the meniscus of the ink present between the seal part of the stopper member of the valve disc and the ink supply port.
