Abstract:
To provide a vehicle control device capable of preventing a gear stage from being manipulated through unauthorized access when the unauthorized access to an on-vehicle LAN from an outside occurs in a vehicle which includes a drive power source, an automatic transmission, and a shift range switching device, and has automatic driving capability.SOLUTION: When it is determined by unauthorized access detection means 106 that unauthorized access from an outside occurs during automatic driving, by fixing the gear stage of an automatic transmission part 22 to the gear stage which has been set at the time of the determination of the unauthorized access, shift control can be prevented from being manipulated through the unauthorized access. Further, by fixing the gear stage to the gear stage which has been set at the time of the determination of the unauthorized access, a shift shock caused by the change of the gear stage can be inhibited.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
