The vehicle control device 10 includes a right touch sensor 20 (left touch sensor 21) as an input part which is provided on the side face of a steering column post 5 of a vehicle 1 and to which operation contents are inputted by tracing operation, and a control part 30 composed of a calculation part 32 for calculating a track based on an input value inputted by the tracing operation on the right touch sensor 20 (left touch sensor 21) and a determination part 33 for determining the operation contents based on the track calculated by the calculation part 32, for controlling corresponding in-vehicle equipment, based on the determined operation contents.
