Abstract:
To avoid the application of eccentric loads to a parking brake lever, a pin and webs, in a drum brake device for a vehicle in which one end part of the parking brake lever is connected to one web of a pair of brake shoes so as to be turnable via the pin, and traction means is connected to the other end part of the parking brake lever.SOLUTION: A center C1 of a connection part of a first web and traction means in a direction along a rotation axial line CL of the connection part, a center C2 of a connection part of the first web and a parking brake lever 34 via a pin 35 in a direction along the rotation axial line CL of the connection part, and a center C3 of an engagement part of a contraction position regulation strut and the parking brake lever 34 in a direction along the rotation axial line CL of the engagement part are arranged on the same virtual plane PL orthogonal to the rotation axial line.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
