Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular duct and its production method which realize cost reduction and weight saving, increases the degree of freedom of engagement forms to other ducts to be connected mutually and improve the mutual connection strength of ducts and sealability of connection parts.SOLUTION: A vehicular duct 10 comprises: hat-shaped duct parts 15A and 15B which are attached to a component part 11 constituting a part of a vehicle, serve as a vehicular duct formed with at least a part of an air passage for introducing air from an air conditioner to a specified position of the inside of a passenger compartment 12, have a hat-shaped cross section with one side opened and constitute first air passages 13A and 13B by closing the open parts 28A and 28B with the component part 11; and a cylindrical duct part 17 which is at least one-end and cylindrical and forms a second air passage 16 communicating with the first air passages 13A and 13B, by itself without involvement of the component part 11. The vehicular duct 10 is composed of a foam molding molded by foaming a thermoplastic resin with a foaming agent.
