Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vent valve dispensing with the replacement of the valve entire body when using up the valve, facilitating the cleaning and replacement works of a valve inner mechanism, having a superior sealing performance, and requiring a small installation space.
SOLUTION: This vent valve for reducing a negative pressure generated in a pipe is provided with a valve chamber 10 and a valve body 28 having an air flow inlet 21 for communicating the atmosphere to the valve chamber 10. The air flow inlet 21 is provided with inner and outer circular valve seats 12 and 13 spaced from each other, and the valve seats 12 and 13 are generally seated, however, have a valve mechanism opening by responding to the negative pressure in the pipe. The valve chamber 10 of the valve body 28 is covered with a cap 14, and the cap 14 is inserted and rotated in the axial direction of the valve chamber 10 so that an engagement means to be engaged therewith is provided in the top of the valve body 28, and the cap 14 is detachably provided in the valve chamber by the engagement means.
