Abstract:
To provide a video display device that is more convenient even when a plurality of users shares the device.SOLUTION: A video display device 100 comprises: a storage unit that stores information on change of settings applied to the video display device and information on an operator who issues an instruction to change the settings to the video display device as individual setting information and operator information, respectively, in an individual information storage area in association with each other; an operator identification unit that identifies an operator who operates the video display device and determines whether information on the identified operator who operates the video display device matches the operator information stored in the storage unit by comparing the pieces of information; and a main control unit that, as a result of the comparison, when the information on the identified operator who operates the video display device matches the operator information stored in the storage unit, reads out the individual setting information stored in the storage unit in association with the operator information, and applies the change of settings based on the read-out individual setting information to the video display device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
