PURPOSE: To adjust a hue of a print picture optionally in the video printer in which a picture data in terms of RGB color signal is written in a memory and the signal is read from the memory and printed out.

CONSTITUTION: The printer is provided with means 14-16 adjusting RGB color signal data read from memories 1-3 to be a data set optionally by the operator and the adjusted RGB color signal data is converted into an analog signal by D/A converters 4-6 and the result is sent to a monitor and a color conversion means 10 converts the adjusted RGB color signal data into YCM print picture data. Thus, the printer is adjusted in an optional color tone while observing the monitor.
