Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to prevent spoilage of cooked rice contained in the rice cooker by executing warm keeping operation hereafter smoothly even if ignition fails in the temporary heating (reheating), in a warm keeping type gas rice cooker which keeps cooked rice warm by an electric heater after rice cooking is completed as well as heats up the cooked rice temporarily with gas fire, igniting the gas burner for rice cooking when the warm keeping time reaches the setting time.
SOLUTION: An ignition detecting means 3 is provided to detect if the gas burner 2 is ignited by the ignition operation in temporary heating with gas fire. A warm keeping control means is provided which cuts off the circuit to the gas burner, responding to the output of the ignition detecting means if ignition is not detected when ignition operation is executed, but maintains the electric heater H in the energized state.
