Abstract:

To solve the problem that the cold start of an internal combustion engine in a hybrid car results in the increase in the ratio of emission included in exhaust gas.

This warming-up control method of a hybrid car on which a motor 13 and an internal combustion engine 14 for making a vehicle travel are loaded includes a step for calculating the request output torque to a vehicle based on accelerator opening to be operated by a driver; a step for calculating outputable torque which can be output by the motor 13; a step for deciding whether or not the calculated outputable torque is larger than requested output torque by prescribed torque or more; and a step for, when it is decided that the outputable torque is larger than the request output torque by the prescribed torque or more in the decision step, performing the cranking of the internal combustion engine 14 by the motor 13 without supplying fuel to the internal combustion engine 14.
