Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable driving of an oil pump in an appropriate rotation using a simple configuration.SOLUTION: An on-vehicle oil pump-drive switchover apparatus includes, in a drive system: a starter motor 1; a drive source 2; an oil pump 14; and an oil pump-drive switchover mechanism 13 for driving the oil pump 14 with either one of the drive source 2 and starter motor 1, with the mechanism 13 provided with a first one-way clutch 13e, linked with a first shaft 16, for mechanically engaging or disengaging transmission of rotary drive from the drive source 2 to the oil pump 14, and with a second one-way clutch 13f, linked with a second shaft 17, for mechanically engaging or disengaging transmission of rotary drive from the starter motor 1 to the oil pump 14. Further, when switching the driving of the oil pump 14 between the drive source 2 and the starter motor 1, the one-way clutch 13e, 13f disposed on a side where rotation speed is higher of the first shaft 16 in link with the drive source 2 and the second shaft 17 in link to the starter motor 1.
