PURPOSE: To prevent the deviation of the high densities of warps to the outer layers of a three-dimensionally woven fabric to provide the three-dimensionally woven fabric having a homogeneous density, by opening a warp group arranged into many columns and many rows with specific warp guides in a process for producing the three-dimensionally woven fabric.
CONSTITUTION: A thin plate of e.g., polypropylene, is bent in a zigzag state and slits 7 having a width for passing warps are formed at the top portions of the formed mountains leaving the top portions at both the end portions of the mountains to provide a warp guide 5. Supporting rods 6 are horizontally and projectedly disposed from both the ends of the mountains. A support bracket 4 and a screw shaft 11, respectively, are disposed on the mutually parallelly extending portions a U-shaped frame 2. The supporting rods 6 of the warp guides 5 are hung on a pair of the support brackets 4. The opening of the warps is performed by the rotation of the screw shafts 11. Two of the warp- opening apparatus are disposed rectangularly to each other and the opening of the warps in the X and Y directions are performed.
