Abstract:
To produce waste granules from wastes such as sludge cakes by a simple mechanism.
Projected arrays 32 are formed in the inner face of a rotary shaft 10 in a cutting stage S1 and partially intermeshed with a cutter unit 16. The cutter unit 16 is installed in a manner that it can move subsequently and a plurality of main cutters C1 to C5 are formed there from the upstream side to the downstream side. Due to the function of the projections, sludge cakes are rotated and moved and at that time, the sludge cakes are pushed and cut by the main cutter. This process is repeated step by step to produce cut pieces in a prescribed size. The cut pieces are granulated and classified.
