Title:
WEAK LIGHT DETECTOR USING ULTRAVIOLET TRANSMISSION SUBSTRATE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3760241
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent noise deriving from impurities, to prevent an electrode on a substrate from being peeled off, to provide a weak light detector for cooling a circuit appropriately, and to provide a weak light detector for measuring the number of photons.
SOLUTION: The weak light detector includes an ultraviolet transmission substrate having an integration type reading circuit including a photo detection means. As the high purity material of the substrate for transmitting ultraviolet rays, one of calcium fluoride, silicon dioxide, quartz glass, crystalline quartz , sapphire, and fluororesin is listed.
