Abstract:
To solve a problem of complication and expensiveness of a conventional welding device that conducts low-spatter welding and A/C welding in the same device while using a constriction detecting technique.
In a welding device in which polarity inversion of output terminals is conducted, low-spatter welding is realized by sharply reducing an output current by conducting polarity inversion of the output terminals at a point of time when a constriction detecting part detects a constriction phenomenon and/or when a short-circuit is detected during generation of arc. Thus, a welding device capable of conducting low-spatter welding and A/C welding in one device is inexpensively made with a simple structure.
