To provide a wet friction clutch plate enabling both clutch plates being in pressure contact state between them to be positively separated when the pressure contact force is released, to thereby effectively remove the dragging torque caused by lubricant.
An outer clutch plate 11 is provided with an elastic protrusions 20 on the friction surface 11a thereof. The elastic protrusions 20 are constructed by protruding both peripheral directional sides of a slit 21 formed in the gap for blocking a magnetic path. The elastic protrusions 20 are given a prescribed elastic force so that both clutches 11, 12 are positively separated by releasing the pressure contact force to thereby remove the dragging torque caused by lubricant while, in case the pressure contact force is exerted on the clutch plates, the elastic protrusions 20 on the clutch plate 11, 12 are being flattened conforming to the friction surface 12a of the opposite clutch plate 12, thereby securing a necessary and sufficient pressure contact area between both clutches 11, 12.
