Title:
WIDENING METHOD FOR EXISTING STRUCTURE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2016023430
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a widening method that enables safe and prompt removal of an existing structure and improves construction work speed, when the existing structure is removed and a new structure made by widening the existing structure is constructed, without any restriction on relations regarding height and width of the two structures.SOLUTION: An existing structure 1 is replaced by removing the existing structure 1 and constructing a new structure made by widening the existing structure 1. The new structure is constructed by installing a box-type roof 7 from a vertical shaft at locations corresponding to an outer periphery of the new structure, along an entire perimeter and penetrating through an entire length, the vertical shaft having been installed on both sides for protecting a construction section, and constructing a box body 2 for the new structure in the vertical shaft on a starting side 4, and then pushing out the box-type roof 7, a natural ground inside and the box body 2 integrally toward an arrival side. The existing structure 1 is removed by cutting off and separating the existing structure along the outer periphery of the new structure and pushing out a row of box-shape roofs, thus punching out the existing structure 1 surrounded by the row of box-type roofs toward the arrival side 5 together with a natural ground inside, and then dismantling the existing structure.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
