Abstract:
PURPOSE: To rapidly and precisely correct a rotational speed of a motor for a reel according to a rotational position of a dancer arm without generating any hunting so as to surely absorb a change in tension of a wire.
CONSTITUTION: Rotational positions of dancer arms 21, 22 arranged between machining rollers 3, 4 and reels 13, 14 are detected by means of sensors 26, 27. On the basis of the detected data from the sensors 26, 27, rotational speeds of the reel rotating motors 15, 16 are changed. In correction of these rotational speeds, a correction coefficient for the rotational speed is changed on the basis of a traveling speed of a wire 5 and winding diameters of the reels 13, 14.
