Abstract:
To provide a wood protective coating that forms a coating layer having high light transmittance and can improve the weather resistance of wood and a member for external facing.SOLUTION: A wood protective coating contains A agent and B agent. The A agent contains (a1) polycarbonate diol, (a2) ultraviolet absorber, and (a3) light stabilizer. The B agent contains hexamethylene diisocyanate, or a hexamethylene diisocyanate derivative. A coating layer with a thickness of 0.15 mm formed from the wood protective coating has a light transmittance of 19% or more at a wavelength of 650-750 nm, and has a light transmittance of 80% or less at a wavelength of 400 nm.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
