Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a work machining device capable of lengthening a maintenance inspection interval and reducing a thrust loss of a linear motor.
SOLUTION: An arm 31 is fixed at a housing 3 to hold a main shaft 1 through a rod 30. A cylinder device 32 is situated in a position opposite to the arm 31. When a linear motor 8 is operated, a piston rod 32b is positioned at a lower moving end. When the power source of the linear motor 8 is cut off, the cylinder device 32 is operated and the piston rod 32b is raised and a housing 3, i.e., the main shaft 1 is held not to drop.
