Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To hold a guide member for guiding a jet nozzle laterally, always in a horizontal state.
SOLUTION: A guide member 21 provided at a self-advancing machine body 19 and long in a cross direction is provided with a high pressure water jet device 11 having a jet nozzle laterally movable along the guide member 21, and detecting sensors 39 for detecting the horizontal inclination of the guide member 21 in at least two places. The guide member 21 is held always in a horizontal state by a guide member horizontal holding device 29 operated on the basis of detection signals from the detecting sensors 39.
