To provide a work truck and a spinning machine, enabling easy attaching/detaching operation of the work truck, and effective utilization of a space.
A yarn splicing truck 3 movable along an upper rail 41a and a lower rail 41b among a plurality of spinning units 2 comprises: an upper side guide roller pair 350 abutting against the upper rail 41a; a folding bracket 360 which switches a position of the upper side guide roller pair 350 to an abutting position abutting against the upper rail 41a and a spaced position spaced from the upper rail 41a; and a housing 300 having the folding bracket 360 attached thereto and moving along the rails 41a and 41b. The switching of the position of the upper side guide roller pair 350 by using the folding bracket 360 facilitates attachment/detachment of the yarn splicing truck 3 to/from the rails 41a and 41b, and allows the attachment/detachment of the yarn splicing truck 3 at any position to eliminate the need for a space for the attachment/detachment of the yarn splicing truck 3 in an end of the upper rail 41a and others.
